Course Memo

This seminar considers the history and theology of Asian Christianities. It traces the development of Christianity in different parts of Asia, bothin the ancient times and since the Age of Discovery. Issues of inculturation, religious pluralism, evangelization, church-state relations, and Christian identity will be explored in particular contexts of Asia. Class requirements include critical reading & on-line discussion; class presentation and participation; book reviews and a final project. This class will be taught via zoom [15 max enrollment]
