INTERMEDIATE HEBREW II (BS-2003)

This course is a continuation of Elementary Biblical Hebrew I and II and Intermediate Biblical Hebrew I (all students who have completed these courses are encouraged to attend). Students will review elementary Hebrew grammar throughout the semester and learn new grammatical concepts. The course will also focus on increasing students' vocabulary while they engage Hebrew prose and some poetry (including Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy, Judges, and some prophetic material). Assessment will be based on weekly quizzes, midterm, final, and course participation (Hebrew reading). PhD students must attend in person. All other students are highly encouraged to participate in person, though the course will be in hybrid format.[Auditors With Faculty Permission]
