Course Memo

The course introduces the history of spiritual care and describes the roles and responsibilities of professional chaplains in different contexts such as healthcare, universities, corrections, the military, fire and police departments, and corporate. Assessment includes a synchronous meeting on Tuesdays at 9:30 for 90 minutes, asynchronous discussion, a reflection paper, and a final paper. The course is open to MA/MTS, MDiv, DMin, and PhD/ThD students. [Auditors excluded]
