INTRODUCTION TO PRISON MINISTRY II (PS-4105)

This seminar is the second unit of a three part (three one-unit courses) to be offered in the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. This first unit (5 consecutive weekly meetings) will provide an overview of Catholic Prison Ministry with an emphasis on pastoral care for the incarcerated and those who work in the American Prison system. Format will be a seminar. Intended audience is students who might be considering prison or jail ministry either as volunteers or on a professional level.  Evaluation will be based on reflection papers.
