Course Memo

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive historical overview of the Church in the Late Antique period. It will cover the period described in-depth while also providing overviews of the important historical themes and movements which characterized this period of transition, such as popular piety, asceticism, and art and architecture. The class will be lecture based, and will allow for either an exam or a paper option.
