Course Memo

This course will investigate the ways in which preaching might serve as a bridge building activity seeking to unite the hearers in the pursuits of justice. This course intends to weave together insights from prophetic preaching along with capacities of pastoral and spiritual caregiving that intends to catalyze intersectional coalitions and the cultivation of the beloved community in pluralistic contexts. This course fulfills the advanced preaching requirement for 3rd year MDiv students in PSR's stackable curriculum. Class meets weekly from 2:10pm-3:30pm in hybrid concurrent format on dates 2/1/22-3/15/22. [Faculty Consent required; 15 max enrollment; Auditors with faculty permission]
