LEADERSHIP FOR MINISTRY II (FTRS-8289)

This course is the second in a two-semester sequence for students in the third year of the MDiv program. The course is also open to MTS and CAS students who are willing to commit to both semesters of class and placement site responsibilities. The course engages students in the practical application of theological education to leadership issues in their site placements, as well as in preparation for leadership after seminary. Students connect theory and practice, using readings, lectures, case studies, ministry and leadership experiences, and individual and group exercises. Each student must have a supervised placement in which to deepen knowledge through experience and reflection upon issues covered in the class. [FTRS 2281/8288; Faculty Consent required]]
