Course Memo
The New Testament Gospels present different portraits of Jesus. In this lecture/discussion course the focus will be on comparing the Gospels with one another and examining what it might mean that different portraits of the same person and events exist in the same canon of the New Testament. Allowing each Gospel to stand on its own, and then comparing them with one another, deepens one's understanding of the various portraits of Jesus in the Gospels will be required.
