(01/31/2022-05/20/2022)

Course Memo

Using a person-centered perspective, neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma research, this class uses a healing orientation towards working with people with maladujustments in life to experience a more satisfying life. It will focus on working with persons from a real and sincere stance, acceptance as experienced through prizing the other, and compassionate understanding grounded in active listening. The class will be taught in a seminar format with evaluation done through reflection papers. The approach to the class will be working from a relational approach of undoing aloneness through what Fr. Greg Boyle calls radical kinship. Remote Format.
