SPEECH FOR THE PREACHER (HM-1000)

The course welcomes all who speak before others in settings ranging from small groups to large gatherings and who want to strengthen
their oral communication skills. An exploration of how meaning is perceived and expressed is the course goal. Particular attention is given
to the human voice and body as instruments of expression. The art of oral interpretation is presented as an exegetical tool, a way of coming
to know a text. Course meets in Montgomery Chapel Classroom.
