Course Memo

This course introduces students to logical reasoning, focusing on the fundamental principles and techniques of classical logic first articulated in Aristotle’s Organon and further developed by ancient, medieval, and modern thinkers. The course will include an examination of various errors and fallacies of reasoning, treatment of formal argument, and a breief introduction to modern symbolic logic. [Auditors excluded]
