(09/07/2021-12/17/2021)

Course Memo

This course examines the mind-body problem and the solutions from mainstream theories. In the second part of the course we review topics like free will, the self, the veridicality of perception, and religious experience. The course also addresses contributions from Neuroscience and AI that have shaped our understanding of the mind. This is a hybrid course that comprises an online pre-recorded lecture and an in-class discussion. Assignments include student presentations of academic papers, and a final paper.
